Capstan rings

Old devices are known to be built much better than the electronics of nowadays. They were designed for quality and reliability, so that they could be serviceable in the future. However, they contain some parts that do not last forever. These are usually rubber or plastic parts. Rubber is deteriorates faster than metal, plastic material changes it’s dimensions and becomes more fragile. After 20 or 30 years, you should replace them. Old manufacturers either do not exist, or they do not support these products anymore.  This is the right place where you can find capstan ring for various cassette player models. Capstan rings are used to transfer mechanical power from motor to capstan. You can find them in various TOTL models of players, mostly Disc-Drive.
