Old devices are known to be built much better than the electronics of nowadays. They were designed for quality and reliability, so that they could be serviceable in the future. However, they contain some parts that do not last forever. These are usually rubber or plastic parts. Rubber is known to deteriorate faster than metal, plastic material changes it’s dimensions and becomes more fragile. After 20 or 30 years, they must be replaced. Old manufacturers either do not exist, or they do not support these products anymore. This is the right place where you can find 0.9 mm square belts for old audio player devices.
Most belts listed in this category are custom made. We check and test every part before we list it here. They have the same thickness as the original ones, usually 0.6 mm.
Examples of belts that we sell:
0.5 mm square belts or 0.9 mm square belts used in later ultra-thin cassette players
belt used in early walkman models
